Slow Sunday Scenes from the Village, 21 June

"...
In the summer time when the weather is hot
You can stretch right up and touch the sky
When the weather's fine
You got women, you got women on your mind
Have a drink, have a [ride]
Go out and see what you can find..."
(Dorset [with slight alteration by myself], as performed by Mungo Jerry)

Ah, the first Slow Scenes from the Village of the summer, the first farmers' market since before the pandemic. Yes, that did mean an overabundance of automobiles but, as usual, there are plenty of folks who know a better way to get around.

the craftspersons are unable, yet, to return to the farmers' market,
but the artisans can set up at Shelton Park

this is great - cut the fence to accommodate the tree, not the other way around

Summer has just begun, so bring out your bikes.

Oh, and happy day to all the fathers out there!
