Ladies and Gents: Back at It

It has kind of been a week of "back at its," and now the Thursday Ladies & Gents Ride can be added to that list. Good to ride with everyone again.

That sun, setting a beat off my helmeted head... and a one, and a two. Blinding rays bouncing off the pavement, sharp and staccato. A rounding beat, starting at the top, circling down and back around. Pulse and hum, click, click, click, the curb streaming behind, waving in the wake. Lines blur, faster, faster... heels rise and fall in sequence, tap, tap, tap.
