#StopSuicide
So, I really do not know yet what this page is going to be, how it will evolve over time. Many of you know that 23 February will never be just another day to my family. On that day in 2020 severe depression and suicide took the life of someone who had become "a member of our family," and "like the daughter we never had."
Yes I know this is a cycling blog, but it is not as though the cycling world hasn't been stunned by the same problem - it was 14 February in 2004 that Marco Pantani died of an overdose following a bout of severe depression during which he isolated himself from family, friends and the world around him. And then lets not forget Robin Williams, perhaps the biggest bike geek of all time, who took his life in August 2014.
If sharing information, even information you might not expect to see here, allows me be to Be the Voice in some small way, then I hope some good may come from it.
