Salsa without the Tacos

She was wrong. At some point, some where, some how she got the idea that there would be tacos. It was a good thought to have, but there would be no tacos, not for her nor for anyone else. What there would be, this cold night at the Local Bikestand (beside drinks and other snacks), was a talk on bikepacking and a viewing of Salsa bikes and gear. "Wait, what did you write? Salsa bikes? Oh Salsa Bikes! I saw salsa on the flyer and thought..." Well, taco dreams, unrealized, die hard I guess.

Anyway, if you made it out to the Local Bikestand last week you might have enjoyed learning about bikepacking and checked out some bikepacking gear. Maybe you found out just how much, or how little, gear you actually need for a successful bikepacking trip. Maybe it fueled your interest, and you have been busy planning a trip ever since.

Programs like this are among the many positives we get from our local bikeshops; they are not just a faceless business, they are owned and operated by our friends. Something to remember as we get further into the holiday season.
