Cycling Claremont: Pizza n' Such...
I have not done one of these Cycling Claremont posts in a while, and this will be the first on the new blog. Pizza n' Such, probably the first restaurant the family ate at after moving to Claremont. By my reckoning, they have far and away the best pizza in town. Don't let that discourage you from trying other menu items however. Their beer and wine selection is fairly small, but covers the bases, and they do feature Dale Bros Pomona Queen and seasonal brews. When the city began installing new bike racks around the Village area last year (2011) many of the local businesses quickly realized it was good business to have one located outside the front door. Being located at the corner of Yale and Second, Pizza n' Such was especially fortunate, with one rack at the front door and another three along the side. No parking problem there. Note of interest: First a bank, then a pharmacy, before being converted into a restaurant, the Verbal building, where Pizza n' Such is located, turns 100 this year.
