For good, or bad, only two people will ever know who spoke those words describing Didi "the Devil" Senft. However, in writing about the popular roadside race attraction (Didi), author Jeremy Whittle penned, "...the first thing that hits you about Didi is not his larger-than-life personality or his stylish outfit, but the smell of a middle-aged man who has been living in the back of a van for three weeks in July."
