Stuff Someone Said: Arthur Conan Doyle

Well, I don't know about where you are, but here there is a heck of a lot of rain falling outside the walls right now. If that were not the case this uplifting quote, from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, might be pretty appropriate given the current state of the world:

"When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking."

  1. A very good quote .. very timely. Unfortunately for cyclists in some countries it isn't possible right now due to restrictions on movement..

    1. Indeed. We can only hope that severe restrictions ultimately lead to a quicker recovery.
