3 (ft) on the 24th...

Twenty-two states have already done it. Our (California's) Governor failed to do it last time around. Once again, after having already passed the State Senate, a 3-foot passing law
(SB 1464) will move another step closer to reality by passing through the State Assembly. The vote is scheduled to take place on the 24th, so if you have not done so already, let your Assembly-person know how important this law is to you. You can contact your representative yourself, or use the handy form prepared by Transform and the California Bicycle Coalition.

Monday, 27 August update: Well it was a little later than the 24th, but the State Assembly did approve the bill, which now goes to Governor Brown for his signature. Here's hoping this version gets the official rubber stamp validation.
