Plan 'B'

Well sure, there were some clouds. High, thin things by the look of them. I wouldn't have expected rain to fall from things like those. But fall it did; half way into the ride down to the tennis courts, down it came. Those big, fat drops of summer rain. Those drops don't pitter-patter, they plop and thunk. For such occasions it is good to have a plan 'b' to fall back on.

Track National Championships at the Velo Sports Center both Saturday and Sunday, and Manhattan Beach Grand Prix at... well, at Manhattan Beach on Sunday. Have a great weekend wherever you are, whatever you do.
