Seen While Riding: Lacertilia succulentus

Usually when I go riding through the Claremont Colleges this time of year while looking for art, I am not normally looking for things on the ground plane. If I had been looking up at walls, or such, as I rode this afternoon, I might have missed these two artistically created lizards. I must say though, unlike the other nearby art, these are going to require some regular upkeep to help the succulents, from which they are made, maintain their form. Then again perhaps they are not intended to keep their shape forever, but to simply grow, and change as they will. In that case, ride by soon, and see them while you can.
