Slow Sunday Scenes in the Village: 'twas the Week Before Christmas
It is indeed, just a week to go now. It seems as though the closer we get, the quicker the time flies. With no farmers' market next week, plenty of folks were out taking care of their shopping today and, though the colleges are most abandoned by now (and contrary to what one person would have you believe), there was no lack of bicyclists riding in (I wasn't able to determine if any of them were the "non-existent" variety). Mostly I wanted to get a few easy miles into my, lately, mileage deficient legs, and get one of those Pepo Melo fruit bowls for breakfast, but I could also do a little more shopping at Rio de Ojas, and see the Sierra foothills paintings I missed at Square I Gallery during the December Art Walk show opening. And how about that weather - no arm warmers, no vest - it is mid-December? Right? Life can be good. The weekend around here certainly was good. Hope your's was as well. Ride On!
I don't know what exactly that purple stuff was on the bottom, but mmm, good
