The Cross Town Loop: Leave No Stone Unturned

Like the last tree in the woodland that I mentioned (tree xxxx) that one's nearest neighbor is also untagged. It is a big one, the kind that probably gave rise to the popular folklore image in which oaks are portrayed as powerful protectors of the woods:

"Oh they rode in the wood, where the oaken tree stood
To cut down the tree, the oaken tree
Then the tree gave a groan and summoned his own,
For the trees closed about and they never got out
Of the wood, the wonderful wood."
(from a folktale of Somerset, collected by Ruth L. Tongue)

The "leave no stone unturned" stone is a new one, at least it was not part of the collection the last time I rode past this spot. I was intrigued enough to stop and turn the others over, expecting other messages. But no, nothing. It is apropos, though, a motto for bicycling and living, seeking out adventure, discovering, leaving no stone unturned.
