Doing Good for Sarah Hammer

Whoa, has it really been more than eleven years since I took this photo? Why, yes it has. I swear the older you get the faster time flies. There I was focused on taking photos during races at the Velo Sports Center. There were a few people in the stands, but no one really stood out in the low light. Racers sped by on the oval below, and as i turned back around to pick them up around the far turn again, i suddenly did notice someone in the stands watching. It was like she appeared out of nowhere, the bright white of World's Champion kit really standing out. The person watching was Sarah Hammer (Sarah Hammer Kroening Oly). 

I suppose there is nothing great about the photo, but it was one of my favorites from that day, and remains so to this day. Anyway, and you may have already read about it elsewhere (when Chloé Dygert started a GoFundMe account, the story spread around the cycling world), but Sarah has experienced a health emergency requiring extended treatment and care.
