Swarm and Swarm Again

you have to see these tiny blue flowers from just the right angle, when they can appear as a mass covering the road, when in reality they're quite spread out

There i was, minding my own business when all of a sudden things began to swirl around me, black spots before my eyes, which tried to follow them, darting back and forth across the blue of the sky - one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi - yeah, it probably took about that long before i realized i had, again, ridden into a swarm of bees. You know that panic is not the thing to do, but i challenge anyone to confess the first words out of your mouth is anything other than "oh, shit."

At that point i was right at the mid-way bridge which i then crossed and continued up the channel. I ain't going to lie like a certain liar-in-chief, i found some extra pace in my legs to make my escape and, though i continued to see those black dots darting around, occasionally crashing into me for the next fifteen to twenty yards, any thoughts that they saw me as the threat that had disturbed them subsided with each passing pedal stroke.

siesta time - i need more miles, even these short rides are wearing me out!
