Monday Blues: Some Little Protest
She didn't make the light, so I waited at the next corner. A house occupies the corner lot. The yard is cool, lots of rocks, cacti, succulents, stuff like that, a lot of those plants flowering throughout the year. Always something to distract your eye. I didn't, probably would not have, notice the little pice of cardboard intentionally left on the curb. Or was it one of those brown cardboard-like wraps they put on hot cups of coffee? I wasn't sure. Held down by rocks, though, its placement was intentional. Just someone's little protest against the destructive oligarchy and the lawless criminals of the current administration. Just one of those little things with big meaning yet get to see when on your bicycle.
The Monday Blues has been an occasional feature here at the blog since inception; the blues, an emotion, a color, a genre of music, with a cycling twist.
