Friday Feedbag: Claremont Streets for People News

No, I'm not really resurrecting the old feedbag, but there is some news to share here:

The February newsletter of Claremont Streets for People arrived in my inbox last night, packed full with news of transportation issues from our little city of Claremont. Leading off with an announcement for the monthly meeting (which will start off with a talk by CMC Professor Zach Courser about local government and ways residents can engage in the political process). Then came news of a couple projects within the city - the Mountain Avenue Corridor Complete Streets Improvement Project, another at the South College and Green Street Intersection, right at Oakmont Elementary, and then a look at the city's Traffic & Transportation Commission process of prioritizing safety projects. Each of these also included links to the relevant city documents. The CSP newsletter ended with a short list of bike and pedestrian planning videos available on YouTube.

If you haven't signed up for the newsletter, hop on it, it is a great way of keeping up on traffic, transportation of safety developments within the city. Signing up is easy, just go to Claremont Streets for People and scroll down to one of the yellow "sign up" banners.
