Turnip Jack Rides the Loop
For obvious reasons Turnip Jack doesn't get out much, one week or so each year is it, and then back in the Halloween bin for another twelve months. Today he got to ride the full Heights / PET Loop, experience the thrill of a sudden skid stop, see the two opposing sides of people who care (and conversely don't, for which there will be a Monday Blues post) about the world they inhabit, and enjoy some lingering summer-like weather.
"...Morning found us calmly unaware
Noon burn gold into our hair
At night, we swim the laughin' sea
When summer's gone
Where will be be?"
(Morrison, Densmore, Manzarek, Krieger)
