What They're Saying About Fast Digs

I guess I have failed to do any promotion of Fast Digs lately, so...

"A must read for anyone interested in the earliest years of bicycle racing in Southern California." (Tums Daily Evening Expresso Registry of Maine)

"Did someone really spend years researching this? So many names. Who are they again?" (Cerro Gordo Dependent)

"I mean, why would anyone want to, but honestly nowhere else will you find as comprehensive an account of bicycle racing in the Los Angeles area between the years 1880 and 1899 as you will find in this book." (Mads Magazine)

Yeah, so the problem with soliciting book reviews from unverifiable and suspicious news sources is you never know what you'll get. That said I dare anyone to point out any other book that has contributed as much research into the races, racers and venues during the earliest years of bicycle activity in the Los Angeles region. You can pick up a copy from the Blurb bookstore in either hard or paperback editions (personally I recommend hard cover - they are more durable, and you'll want to read / refer to this over and over again).

Volume II, covering the years 1900 to 1929 is on the horizon, as is the seventh volume in the CLR Effect Occasional series.
