2022 Giro d'Italia Opens with a Rush

and ends with a crash (not too surprising, mind you).

Apparently "Eurosport is unavailable in your region," means I can't get Eurosport here at home, so I can't quite watch any of the Giro d'Italia live but, fortunately, Youtube is full of highlight reels and, honestly, whittling down a multi-hour race to about fifteen or twenty minutes does free up a chunk of the day.

 Plus, as long as you find the right highlight reel, you'll get Sean Kelly's color commentary too, and it is certainly good to hear King Kelly at it again:

"He just rubs the wheel and down ya go"

simple as that, 

as Caleb Ewan overlapped wheels with Biniam Girmay just a few meters from the line, going down hard, and with Mathieu van der Poel charging across 1st at the end of the opening 195 km stage one.
