some kind of crazy sculpture someone installed out there, all twisted rebar and broken concrete

some of the first of the early season Spring bloomers are the eucalyptus. the hedgerow above the upper pit is showing its colors. two different species of eucalyptus, two different color flowers. unfortunately, a lot of the trees are not looking healthy, and some are dead, so who knows how many more years they will be showing off those silky pink and magenta tassels

still quiet a bit of snow up in the high places
