Is This Progress?

The window was left open one more day. With the sky blue and and a warm sun taking the bite away from the, otherwise, cool air taking a ride was as close to necessary as you can get. Between December 24 and January 6 there were a grand total of two rides - on 24 December and on 6 January.

In hindsight, taking the Pacific Electric Trail (PET) may have been a little risky (some rain back in mid-November washed all kinds of mud across the trail where it remained for days afterward). This time, though, the city (or someone), got the mess cleaned up nicely and the way was clear. Beside checking the condition, there were other reasons for riding the PET today - ending up back in town for the farmers' market, putting myself in a position to, finally, stop in at Dr. Strange Records, and seeing how many others we knew were out and about - plenty as it turns out.

Alas, while I did find some cool music to purchase from the good Doctor, I still find myself on the hunt for Ugly Kid Joe's Rad Wings of Destiny, and the Dropkick Murphy's This Machine Still Kills Fascists (I sure do miss the old days when I could pop into Tower and find anything and everything I was looking for). Is this progress?
