This Bud's for You, 18 July

 One dark cloud cast a big shadow over an empty road. A little early yet for a summer shower it was still threatening enough that I thought a little moisture might grace the pave during the ride over, but no. The only thing falling to earth was that big shadow darkening that empty road. Suddenly, and I say that because not three seconds after taking the opening color shot, the group of furious dark spots swarmed around the distant turn. Two with greater speed had detached themselves, propelled forward from the bunch with just enough gap to crush the hopes of everyone behind.
