Up the Road: Tour de Foothills

If you are still straddling that fence, don't take too long in deciding which side to jump to, the 13th annual Tour de Foothills is something like a week and a half away. There are four routes from which you can choose - 100, 62, and 31 miles, plus a family fun ride for the youngsters, or those who just want to get back to the biergarten quicker. The beer garden is extra, but each entrant gets a free meal at the finish of their ride, and rest stops along the routes will be be well stocked to keep you moving. The long route goes all the way out to the Crown City - Pasadena - and the Jewel in the Crown City - Altadena, so basically visiting each and every foothill city between those two on the west, and Rancho Cucamonga on the east.
