When it comes to Halloween or spooky themed songs Disney got it right. The theme song for the Haunted Mansion is as good as it gets, never mind that before looking up the words most of what I thought were the correct lyrics turned out to be so much gobbledygook. Though all that mish-mash the general idea was there - just the right mix of scare and fun.

Ibis Nights / The Cross Town Loop took a little detour this week. A little recon ride last night to seek out a few of the houses being spooked by the spooks, and a follow-up tonight for a few photos. That house around the corner from Trader Joe's has long attracted the ghouls to its front yard; there are so many packed in again this year that there does not appear to be any room for the living. The reveling skeletons at the house on College Avenue - that's a true Dead Man's Party. See them while riding.
