Monday Blues: Not in the Least

As long as I have this photo to look at, the Monday Blues will forever be smushed beneath my knobby 29ers. Was Sunday not the most picture perfect day you could hope for? Yes. The view of the San Gabriel Mountains from Bonelli Park was as crystal clear as you could ever hope it to be. The ground was fantastic, still pretty grippy a week past the last rain. There is still one great mushy mud puddle on the trail over by Sailboat Cove to splash through. And everywhere the views beckon you to climb higher, seek new ones just around the next bend. A lot of riders out testing the trails, and themselves, in advance of the US Cup races next weekend. See you there.
