Slow Sunday Scenes

Slow Sundays are for walking the dog first thing after coffee, riding down to the farmers' market, hitting the little felt ball for a couple hours or so, one more dog walk - to the brew house - in the late afternoon, and then as it would turn out, realizing there were no keys in your pocket. Oh damn! And here the day had gone so well. I swear, those googlie eyes actually rolled themselves as i wrote that.

bags of oranges seemed to be popular sellers today

Claremont Streets for People - did you take the survey?

arrivals with cargo bike

riding through

walking through - i noticed that the good old pedal-style bikes were the dominant type today

the Claremont RiffRaff - were good. i haven't seen them at the market before, but they play some good music - folksy, Irish, maybe even some sea shanties. i definitely remember hearing:

"... Her eyes they shone like diamonds
I thought her the queen of the land
And her hair hung over her shoulders
Tied up with a black velvet band..."
