Being Thankful

Been a really long time since last i rode any group Thanksgiving Day ride. For years now (seems impossible, but since 2011, i think) i have contented myself with a quick solo spin, but this year...

turned out to be no time to revert. Well...

If nothing else, we can be thankful for good health that allows us to get Out There and ride on a clear morning, snow-capped peaks not far off, bird song all along the route, and a warm sun on our back. Maybe we can be thankful for a spouse who, when she sees us walking downstairs in cycling kit, says "alright! Go for it!" with not a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

Happy Thanksgiving!

this once loose, rocky crossing always gave me trouble. now someone filled the crossing with dirt making it easy as pumpkin pie. but, should making everything easy really be the goal?

the well-endowed shoe tree. still don't see any cycling shoes boa'd, or velcroed to the, now, bare branches, but i did notice someone had hung their lucky socks

clouds, peaks and Powerline
