 I know why i'm so religious about getting out in the evening. Apparently Exene and John knew it before I did; least 'ways those few lines seem especially appropriate:

Yup, as long as dawn keeps pushin' in another working day, i'll be evening riding.

Meanwhile, the basin on the north side of the dam has fallen almost completely into the shadow of Potato Mountain by the time I make it there on the Up & Over Loop...
