It's the Weekend: Go at it Like S. G. Spier

You might remember, but not recognize, Mr. S. G. Spier from a post of a couple years ago. He was one of Los Angeles's most influential bicyclists during the 1880s and '90s. The photo is from the Security Pacific National Bank Collection at the Los Angeles Public Library, and dates to 1886, the year of his cross-country ride of adventure.
