Up the Road: Donuts to Daisies

Interestingly there are two event pages for this one event - Donuts to Daisies and Donuts to Daisies - take your pick, I guess, though the first one seems to be more popular with people who are either going or interested. Which ever event you choose it looks as though you'll get a fair sampling of the fair city of Claremont - from the depot to Grizzby's (shown above) to the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden to the campuses of the 5-C's. And then, as if all that other stuff were not enough, you can choose to ride out on the Pacific Electric Trail (PET) as far as Rancho Cucamonga, or so, where you can check out Trailhead Park (which I helped design a number of years ago), before heading back to Upland for refreshments. Whoooo, I'm not expecting this to be an especially quick ride, but there sure is a lot to see and do.
