Seen While Riding: Creatures Under Stairs

There are fantastic things, fantastic beasts, giant dismembered appendages to be seen all around town. The best way to see these things, while crossing from one end of town to the other, is by dusting off that bike in the garage, putting a little air in the tires, and going for a ride of discovery. You never know what you'll see on any given day and, while you could see these things by hoping in a car and driving from point to point, I guarantee it will not be as satisfying, and certainly less fun. 

Don't forget there are a couple rides of discovery this weekend: The RAP on Saturday, and on Sunday, the 626 Golden Streets running the length of the San Gabriel Valley. That is a lot to see. If you are local to Claremont you might consider getting to the 626 with the feeder ride organized by the Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition.
