2013 Giro d'Italia: I'm Ready...
Yes, it is the eve of the year's first big Tour. The run up to such moments always are accompanied by many questions. Some, such as the routes of individual stages, were answered long ago. Other questions have been resolved in the past few days - for medical reasons, Ivan Basso is out of the race, for instance. Still other questions will, of course, only be answered once the race actually begins Saturday morning. Can Ryder repeat? He has been quietly building to this big target, and has a quality team for support. Will the talents of Vincenzo Nibali see him rise to the top spot - 3rd in 2010, 2nd in 2011, he skipped the Giro last year in favor of the Tour de France, and has two big wins so far this year, including last month's Giro del Trentino. With the Tour around the bend, will Bradley Wiggins go full-bore in an attempt to add a second major tour to his palmares? What of Cadel Evans? His build up to the race has perhaps been the most quiet of all the established names. Then there are also, Pozzato, Stetina, Pozzovivo, Rubiano, Kessiakoff, Gesink, Atapuma, Duarte, Sanchez, Ferrari, Cobo, Cavendish, Kiserlovski, Cataldo, Uran, and more. The point is, you can predict all you want, but in a three-week race amongst many of the worlds best, you never know what will happen - until it does. Lets go, I'm ready. I don't know about you, but I find my streaming links at cyclingfans.com - they provide multiple daily links from which you can choose.
