Slow Sunday Scenes: Much Ado...

"Take a silver dollar and put it in your pocket
Never le tit slip away
Always be a man, not a boy gone astray
When ya get half cra-zy from the August heat
Or on a frozen, rotted road
With no one to complain to about your achin' feet..."
(Robertson)

Decided to take advantage of the somewhat cooler weather today and take the scenic walking route through the campuses to get to the farmers' market - true, no bike, but then no driving either. Plus there is all sort of stuff to see along the way, like...

architecture...

parrots (he looks kind of dejected - it must get lonely sitting in that doorway all day with students gone for the summer)...

art, in various forms...

koi (Finn was fascinated; i don't think he's ever seen fish swimming around like that)...

then there are all the comings and goings at the market itself

Michael was at the corner strumming his guitar...

no trip to the Village would be complete without stopping in at Norens

words of wisdom from the campus Luddite Club...

and finally, mother and son perhaps heeding the words of wisdom heading up Mills for home

Hope your weekend has been a good one.
