From the Archives: Crits of Fury, 1996

Ah, that old familiar course at Goleta. Races would be held here a couple times each year, beginning with, what had previously been known as the Mothballs Criterium, but in 1996 had become the Crits of Fury. With not a single pair of arm warmers to be seen, the 1996 race, taking pace on the 10th of February was warm, and apparently a pretty good one for me and bolstered my theory that I should target early season races (before everyone else got up to speed). Someone took quite a few photos of the race - I might as well start with the line up.
