Monday Blues: The Mechanical

Just barely got this one in before time ran out. Another ninety minutes would have been too late for the Monday Blues.

Anyway, this one comes from last Sunday's KMC Chain Winter Series XC race. Shown are the Expert Men 19-26. As the three (there is one hidden behind the first) leaders ride away, a fourth comrade, from the Hot Wheels team, has been forced to pull up with a mechanical. The cursed mechanical. I never found out what the problem was - flat, chain, deuraileur, or something else. After heading back to the start / finish, and taking care of the mechanical problem, the racer returned to the course, though impossibly far behind. But, what are you going to do? You've paid the entry fee, so in essence the day becomes an expensive training ride. Well, such is racing.
