First, to Mara Abbott, for securing the overall prize in the Giro Rosa:

And second, to Danny Martin, for breaking the twenty-one year drought of Irish victors at the Tour de France by winning stage 9 in the Pyrenees:

the win also moved Daniel up to 9th on General Classification. And did you see Sean Kelly talking with Dan post-race? Champion of the past, and champion of the present, Kelly could barely contain himself, he was thrilled by Martin's victory.
