Black, White, and Grainy All Over...

Just a few random b&w photos from the trip north. Night time darkness, overcast skies, falling rain are all challenges when attempting to take photos, especially when the subjects are anything but immobile. Without using a flash to stop the action, you end up with shots that are maybe a little fuzzy, grainy, or distorted by noise. They also often turn out to be some of my favorites - kind of raw and unrefined.
