Interbike 2012: Giro d'Italia...

The Italian Trade Commission is one of Interbike's favorite partners, so it was only natural that Giuseppe Perrone, from the Italian consulate in Los Angeles, and Michele Acquarone, Director of the Giro d'Italia, be on hand for a press conference. Signor Perrone was on hand to promote the benefits of Italy - United States interaction and trade, as well as the Giro d'Italia Gran Fondo series. Director Acquarone, besides talking of the rich history of the Giro, the passion of the sport in Italy and the United States, also announced the route of stage 15 of next year's Giro d'Italia, ten days ahead of the official release. In short, stage 15 will take in the Col du Telegraphe and Col du Galibier. As for the rest of the Giro, Signor Acquarone was, naturally, not revealing any secrets, but did say that it would be a well-balanced race. More to come...

Signores Perrone and Acquarone

I couldn't help myself, the closest I will ever get to being Giro campionisimo
