Young Guns of NAHBS 2: McGovern Cycles

This is the "Gold Country", a carbon fibre frame composed of Enve tubing, and made by Chris McGovern in Nevada City, California. McGovern grew up racing bmx, before moving on to the road with some major domestic teams, including Jelly Belly and Health Net. Currently he both coaches and owns a bike shop, yet still finds time to build. McGovern's building experience began at UBI where he learned under master Jim Kish (Kish Fabrication). He has been working in steel and titanium since 2010 and, after a stint with Bohemia Bikes, has branched out into carbon fibre as well. This show build is composed extensively of Shimano and Paul components, and topped off with a Woodman Integrated Seatpost made specifically for mast-style frames. Like McGovern Cycles?
